1. Overview
Resume AI for Tech Jobs ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
- Resume & Job Description Text — The resume text and job description text you provide are sent to our backend service and AI provider to generate results. This may include personal information you choose to include in your resume, such as your name, email address, work history, education, skills, and job preferences.
- AI Analysis Results — ATS scores, missing keywords, suggestions, and improved resume drafts generated from your inputs.
- Usage Counts — Stored locally on your device only (Apple UserDefaults).
- Optimization History — Stored locally on your device only. We do not upload your history.
- Anonymous Device Identifiers — May be collected by Apple frameworks for crash reporting per Apple's policies.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal information or use your resume inputs for advertising.
3. AI Processing of Resume Inputs
Resume AI uses a third-party large language model, Google Gemini API, to analyze resumes
and job descriptions. When you request an analysis, the resume text and job description
you provide are sent to our backend service and Google Gemini API for the sole purpose of
generating your ATS score, missing keywords, suggestions, and improved resume draft.
Data sent for AI processing. This may include resume text, job description
text, work history, education, skills, contact information included in the resume, and other
information you choose to provide.
AI provider. Our current third-party AI provider is
Google Gemini API. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not
use your resume inputs for advertising or marketing profiles.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information, such as government identifiers,
financial account numbers, health information, or other information you do not want
processed by an AI service.
4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal Disclosure
The App offers an auto-renewing subscription managed entirely by Apple's App Store.
- Product: Resume AI Pro – Monthly
- Price: $9.99 / month (or local equivalent)
- Billing: Charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Automatically renews each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Renewal Charge: Account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancel: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Resume AI Pro → Cancel.
- Free Trial (if offered): Unused portion is forfeited when a purchase is made.
We do not have access to your payment details. All billing is handled by Apple.
5. One-Time Purchases (Consumables)
- Product: Single Optimization – $4.99
- Non-renewing consumable. Grants one full optimization view.
- Credits are stored on-device and are not transferable between devices.
- For refunds, contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google Gemini API — Analyzes resume and job description inputs to generate ATS scores, missing keywords, suggestions, and improved resume drafts.
- Cloudflare Workers — Securely routes requests between the App and the AI provider.
- RevenueCat & Apple — Process and manage subscriptions and in-app purchases.
7. Data Storage & Security
- All optimization history is stored locally using Apple's secure storage APIs.
- Resume and job description inputs are transmitted over HTTPS for AI processing.
- Resume and job description inputs are processed to generate the analysis you request. We do not sell these inputs or use them for advertising.
- Analysis results you choose to save are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated.
- We do not maintain user accounts.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us
so we can delete it.
9. Your Rights
Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to request deletion of
from our side. To delete your local history, use the swipe-to-delete feature within the App
or uninstall the App.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page
will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
